The C Standard

Control Union Certifications, In partnership with INCCERT. Has developed The C-Standard, a certification program focused on agricultural production of hemp plants. This program encompasses from genetics to finished product, ensuring that cannabinoids meet the highest quality, fostering greater trust among consumers and allowing manufacturers and retailers to responsibly source the highest-quality hemp-derived cannabinoid raw materials.

The C-Standard

    The C-Standard core components

The C-Standard is divided into two main groups: Seeds and Cannabinoids/Farm:

    • The C-Standard – Cannabinoids/Farm: focuses on the agricultural production of hemp plants that are destined for the cannabinoid market. The volumes coming from the certified farms will later be sold to or processed by cannabinoid processing companies.
    • The C-Standard – Seeds: focuses on the agricultural productions of hemp plants for seeds, and the seeds produced. These seeds will be certified to this Standard and will be later sold to industrial or specialized hemp-growers who in turn will be processed for oil-extraction, fiber production, or other hemp-final products.
